MS Awareness Week | 28 April – 4 May
At Community Wellness Services, we believe in the power of movement—especially for those living with chronic conditions like Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Under the expert guidance of David Birds, our Director and a national multi-award-winning exercise specialist with over 25 years of experience, we’ve seen first hand how the right kind of exercise can transform lives.
MS is a complex autoimmune condition where the immune system attacks the central nervous system (CNS), leading to damage in the brain and spinal cord. This disruption can cause a wide range of symptoms, including fatigue, mobility challenges, temperature sensitivity, and cognitive difficulties.
While the symptoms of MS are varied and can be unpredictable, one approach consistently shown to help manage and reduce these symptoms is exercise.
