Through our partnerships, we provide accessible, inclusive sessions that encourage movement, boost independence, and promote interaction for people of all ages and abilities. From supporting seniors with Age UK to helping those affected by MS, Parkinson's, and chronic health conditions, our classes are designed to improve mobility, strength, and mental wellbeing.

Community Fitness Classes in Sheffield – Our Partnership with Age UK

Working alongside Age UK, one of Britain’s leading charities for supporting seniors, we provide community classes across Sheffield. These sessions are designed specifically for the elderly to get individuals moving and socialising. Our partnership with Age UK in Sheffield is incredibly rewarding, and we find those who attend our classes thoroughly enjoy both the health and social elements.

Specialist MS Rehabilitation Sessions Across South Yorkshire – Working Alongside The MS Society

The MS Society is a national charity dedicated to raising awareness, funding research, and providing essential services for those affected by Multiple Sclerosis, a condition that impacts the central nervous system and can cause a wide range of symptoms such as fatigue, muscle weakness, and balance issues.

We’re proud to support the local MS Society branches in Sheffield, Rotherham, and Barnsley by delivering specialist rehabilitation sessions. These classes focus on improving coordination, muscle strength, and flexibility, helping to slow the progression of symptoms while enhancing independence and quality of life. The sessions are also a great opportunity for social interaction and emotional support.

Delivering Targeted Exercise Programmes for Parkinson’s UK Sheffield

Parkinson’s UK is committed to helping those with Parkinson’s maintain their physical and mental well-being through social events, creative activities, and movement-based sessions. As the experts when it comes to working with neurological conditions in Sheffield, we partner with Parkinson’s UK Sheffield, alongside specialist physiotherapists from Hallamshire Physiotherapy, to deliver targeted exercise programmes designed to slow disease progression and enhance quality of life. Regular exercise can improve posture, balance, and coordination while reducing stiffness and muscle rigidity. These sessions also boost mood and mental sharpness, helping participants maintain a sense of control and independence in their daily lives.

Striving For A Healthier Sheffield

Promoting Health UK is a Sheffield-based non-profit established during the COVID-19 pandemic to support the city’s residents by bringing together community partners with a shared goal of creating a healthier Sheffield. We’ve partnered with them on a range of activities for people of all ages and abilities, offering exercise classes that focus on improving cardiovascular health, flexibility, and mental well-being. Our sessions help participants build healthy habits, reduce stress, and stay connected with others, fostering a stronger and more active community. We are excited to continue working together through 2025 and 2026 on a National Lottery-funded project.

Keeping Sheffield Moving Well

Move Well (formerly known as the Sheffield Physical Activity Referral Scheme), provides tailored physical activity opportunities across the city, delivered by various providers in different locations and formats. Founded by our CWS Managing Director, we are proud to be a key partner in this city-wide initiative, creating a strong community network of inclusive sessions and programmes that make movement more accessible for all.

Exercise through Move Well can help people manage weight, improve cardiovascular health, and reduce the risk of chronic illnesses. Additionally, delivering a variety of sessions across the city that promote mental well-being by reducing stress and anxiety, encouraging social interaction, and improving overall quality of life.

Reducing Health Complications in South Yorkshire With Places Leisure

As part of Places for People, Places Leisure is one of the UK’s leading social enterprises, welcoming over a million members to their venues nationwide. In Sheffield and Rotherham, we work closely with Places Leisure to promote health and well-being by delivering tailored exercise classes for individuals living with chronic health conditions. These sessions are designed to improve mobility, strength, and overall fitness while also reducing the risk of complications related to conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, and arthritis.
