Evidence & Impact

Improving health. Strengthening communities. Creating lasting change.

At Community Wellness Services, we believe good community health services should make a measurable difference.

Across Sheffield and the wider region, we work with individuals, communities and partners to improve physical and mental wellbeing, reduce isolation and help people live healthier, more independent lives.

As a Community Interest Company, we're rooted in the communities we serve. We're a hands-on organisation that gets to know the people we support, works closely with local partners and adapts what we do around local needs.

Our evaluations and impact reports help us understand what changes as a result - and demonstrate the wider value of community-based prevention.

Real People. Real Impact

“I have Parkinson's and sometimes fall. Prior to taking these classes, I could not get myself back up when I fell. I managed to get up unaided for the first time in about 2 years.”

We know we can achieve more by working together.

Our work is built around strong relationships with healthcare services, Primary Care Networks, charities, voluntary and community organisations and specialist health partners.

Together, we're developing accessible community services that respond to local needs, while building a better understanding of what works for the people and communities we support.
