Work Related Stresses and Strains

A common issue we often come across are aches and pains arising from work situations. This can include tight muscles, frequent headaches, regular aches and pains, as well as back, shoulder, and neck pain from sitting at a desk for too long or poor posture. Some problems experienced by our clients are associated with a repetitive strain injury arising from work.

What is a repetitive strain injury?

A repetitive strain injury is used to describe pain that is felt in the muscles caused by a repetitive movement or overuse. As a result, it is often linked to a person’s work, but it can be caused by any activity that you do regularly and repeatedly. Symptoms often include aches, pains, and tenderness, particularly in the hands, arms and shoulders.
